Who We Are

The Ocean City Islamic Center is a diverse congregation united by faith. Our mission: “to seek the pleasure of Allah by establishing a community grounded in the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah, fostering worship, knowledge, and service to our community.” What began as small prayer gatherings has grown, alhamdulillah, into a community institution — now building its permanent home.

The New Masjid Project

Our permanent masjid is rising at 12006 Ocean Gateway. Ground has been broken and the foundation is being laid right now — the very first stones of a house of Allah. Help us build it from the ground up.

Time is running out Our temporary prayer hall — built beside the new masjid — is available for only 18 more months. When it closes, our community will have nowhere to pray unless the new masjid is complete. Help us finish it in time.
